Medway Hospital Review: Feedback Required

Gordon Henderson MP is encouraging his constituents to attend a public meeting to give their feedback, both positive and negative, about Medway Maritime Hospital.

The meeting, which is taking place on Wednesday 15th May from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at Liberty Hall, Union Road in Minster-on-Sea, is part of a mortality review being undertaken by the Regional Medical and Nursing Directors of NHS England.

The review will look at the quality of care and treatment provided by the Medway NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital. The hospital will be investigated on 9th May for 2-3 days.

Mr Henderson said,

“Medway Maritime Hospital is used by a large number of my constituents and is the nearest one for accident and emergency services, which is why it is important we all have an input on the care and treatment it provides.

“I would urge anyone who is concerned about the way in which they were treated at Medway Maritime Hospital to attend the meeting and have their say. Of course, I am sure positive feedback will be welcome also.”

Members of the public are also able to give feedback through the NHS Choices website by visiting:

A final report will be published by the summer.
