The Sittingbourne stall, which raised £68.82, was run by Mat McGill, the Mayor and Mayoress of Swale, Ben Stokes and Sylvia Bennett and Kent County Councillor, Mike Whiting.

The Sheerness Stall, which raised £62.42, was run by RBL member, Steve Louch, the Sheerness Sea Cadets, the Deputy Mayor and Tracey and Rodney Holkham from the Dannyboy Trust.

Gordon Henderson MP also helped man both stalls during the day.

Mr Henderson said,

“I would like to say thank you to all those who volunteered their time to make this event a success and particularly to all my constituents who kindly made a donation.

“My caseworker, Mat McGill, did a very good job at organising this event and I am really pleased that all those involved managed to raise £131.24 in just a few hours for the Royal British Legion, which is considered an important charity for so many of my constituents.”
